Touché (Chapter-6)

 Dear wonderful person,

How have you been? How is this new phase of your life treating you; convey my salutation to your parents.

It was a Thursday evening, I returned to my apartment around 5, thanks to my new Hyderabadi friends who helped me in searching around and selecting a nice furnished flat. Thanks to almighty the apartment was also close to the office like the Hotel I first lodged in. Now you may wonder why did I return home so early than usual, I didn’t get fire it was just that I felt the work which I had could be done staying in the house so I went to the team leader and asked him to allow me, and surprisingly he agreed. What luck!

I did not notice but I had three neighbors out of which two were always out of the country as per the watchman, our watchman was also great, pointed nose trimmed beard. I reached my floor which was 4th out of 12. I removed the keys from my bag and I was about to unlock the door, I heard something following down. I saw the door at the corner of the veranda was open, I rushed towards it.

One old man was picking up all the small round colorful boxes, which he may have purchased to fill spices and chili powder. “Uncle, wait- wait I’ll help,” I said and went in to provide my help. After searching and picking up all the boxes, two of them went under the leather sofa. “Thank you, son” uncle replied “Not a problem uncle” I replied and lifted my bag and stepped out. “You new here” Uncle called. “Yes, uncle, it's my third day here” I replied and smiled. “Would you like to have a cup of coffee or tea?” he asked. “Sure, uncle but at my place” I replied and asked him to join in my snacks time.  Within ten minutes I heard my doorbell, uncle was standing with a pack of toast in his hands. I welcomed him and hosted him with a nice cup of tea with few cardamoms. We started talking about my life; he said he stayed half of the year out of the country with his elder daughter and half of the year here with his younger son. He had landed yesterday that’s why all new shifting problem. I felt an instant connection with him, that why when He asked about my migration, without any hesitation I told about you and to it he replied which was so common but when he said it made me believe in it. “It’s not the separation that parts two individuals it’s the missing word which we take for granted for expecting our partner should initiate,” Uncle said. That who our friendship started
