S.Q.L (Chapter-7)
Dear wonderful person,
How have you been? How is this new phase of your life treating you; convey my salutation to your parents.
I made a black coffee and returned to my chair where, I was surfing the online market to rent a recliner along with few paintings to decorate my new apartment, new international mark showed the total um of amount of rupees thirteen thousand. I was scrolling down the page an email popped up in the right corner of my desktop send from my Team leader which had the subject “stating project on Saturday”, start immediately. In it there I have got the database topic other members of the group s had received other set of computation.
SQL, it is a Structured Query Language which is
a popularly used language to communicate with the databases. It has commands
through which we can easily select data from the database, insert or update
into the database and run multiple queries all at once. We can create an entire
SQL schema through SQL like creating tables, creating the relationships between
tables through key constraints, modifying table structure, delete data or
table, etc.
I was not good at DBMS, still I cleared the exam in one short, but who knew that one piece of advice from my senior to do last three years papers to clear the exam and my hope on him was so high and I didn’t know what I was reading during the prep but still I got sixty out of seventy five, that was an achievement and also a record in my entire four years of journey. That time I realize what goes around comes around. I sat exhaling and cursing my own doing, and I never thought I would say this to myself but I did “Should have studied little harder in my four years”. The project is on next Saturday and today was Tuesday. That means I had only four days including today. I took the charge and started solving without knowing what I was doing. I was not sure whether to solve it or apply it.
I took some time to understand the logics and doing of SQL, but for four days I never left my computer alone, like a mother won’t leave her child in fever. The day of submission showed its face and we all submitted the project.
All the team and I stood in the cafeteria to hear the “we got the client” from our Team Leader. After one hour and twenty eight mints the TL walk towards us with a sad face, I believed we have lost the client, I turned towards the wall and started hitting it. “Coffee on the house” TL shouted. I turned towards him and raised my eye browns; he smiled and said “WE GOT THE CLIENT”. I saw a wild of accomplishment passed all around the office.
