Dear wonderful person, (chapter-1)
Dear wonderful person,
Hope you
are doing fine, how’s everyone in the house, my wishes for their health. I
received an invitation to your Engagement, your mother sent it to my mother and
had asked all of us to pay our glorious presence at your engagement ceremony.
I had just stepped in the house, after writing an awful exam, can you guess what exam? Yes, it was math from the first year. After cleaning myself from outsides dirt, I went and sat to eat my lunch along with my mother, she removed her cell phone and asked me to see, it was your engagement's invitation. I felt my heart skip a beat. I had to smile in front of my mother since it’s a piece of big news for any girl’s family and her close friends. And we were best friends, our friendship is about a decade old now. I was always aware some fine Sunday afternoon I will receive such news from your house but did not expect it to be soon. How far were we when we were together? I am sorry for not being around you, not being able to understand you, not being attentive in our relation, was it? I just want to tell you one needs to learn to let it go if you truly love it. Anyways a great human walked said “the show must go on” I am dealing with the consequences I was neglectful for but at the same time, I am happy for you from the bottom of my heart, for you not being with a loser like me, who can’t even clear his first-year's paper. It’s a letter for you thanking you for always being the flag barrier in our time and for all those good times we spent like our school picnic, our night outs, our binging old classic movies like “gone with the wind” or “chalti ka naam gaadi.”
To conclude, I have a piece of advise for you "Be conscious of the almighty and be nice to people when they are not, and on the journey of marriage tightly hold the rope of patience to complete the journey"
Bye and have
a marvelous life ahead. And if we meet ever while passing on an Amsterdam's sidewalk. Pass a smile and continue walking.
